  • Maintain logistics records in accordance with corporate policies.
• Monitor shipments or transactions
  • Monitor the flow of shipments or transactions, using Web-based logistics information systems to track vehicles or containers.
  • Track shipments or transactions flow from life cycle of the shipment.
  • Monitor shipments or transactions at warehouse facilities to assess receiving, storage, shipping, or inventory integrity, as needed.
• Monitor organizational processes
  • Communicate with or monitor all involved service providers.
• Evaluate logistics methods to reduce environmental impact
  • Follow corporate designated processes to allow for higher level of sustainability.
• Advise customers on logistics topics, needs or improvements
  • Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.
• Obtain information about goods or services to allow development of client proposal
  • Contact carriers for rates or schedules.
  • Contact potential vendors for operational details.
• Coordinate logistics or other business operations
  • Functional knowledge of Portrix, ExWorks, WebCargo to ensure that pricing structures adequately reflect logistics costing relevant to their job title.
• Discuss business strategies, practices, or policies with managers
  • Confer with logistics management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost.
• Understanding of transactional operational accounting
  • Enters and maintains WIPs (Work in Progress) and accruals for payment systems to ensure accuracy of vendor payments according to company policy and milestones.
• Understand and maintain all nine company efficiency milestones.
  • Ensure all data elements are entered timely and as per milestones.
• Apply client specific standard guidelines or policies.
  • Follow guidelines or policies per SOP of client profile for logistics processes.
• Determine the booking requirements for transactions or shipments.
  • Determine equipment and booking requirements and communicating to the client about determination.
• Arrange transport capacity.
  • Arrange transport capacity to minimize losses or inefficiencies associated with empty space.
